Alex, Bryan, and Tinker of Team Monavie-Cannondale w/ Lance Armstrong.

Tinker ended up having some bad luck with a freak mechanical, Bryan suffered a little bout of hypothermia when the cold rains came but finished up strong, and Alex hammered solo for the last 60 miles to finish in 4th overall out of 1500 starters. Oh yea, Lance won with a new course record.

Leadville Tomorrow…

Although Jeremiah and Ben will be missed at the front of the “Leadville 100 train to break the record”, the rest of the Monavie-Cannondale squad is ready for some pavement and dirt road racing!

Dinner at the Leadville camp…

Tinker has been at this game long enough to know it can be hard to secure a good dinner when on the road. He always travels to races with a fishing pole and while in Leadville before the big race, he was able to secure enough mountain trout to feed the entire Monavie-Cannondale compound.

Don’t be surprised, Tinker does everything in full Emv cycling kit!
