San Dimas Classic - Cold & wet, crashes, sickness, etc...

March 18, Cannondale San Dimas Classic:

San Dimas Men: This racing is a team sport "all hands on deck." A number of the team was not at the race! The members that where there put on a good performance. Cycling is a tough sport and it looks as there are many tough teams for 2012. That's what makes it fun to follow. You never know!!!

"Chaotic weather and a bit of bad luck led to a late-night change in yesterday's GC standings at San Dimas Stage Race. When the official results were posted more than five hours after the race ended they showed that Morgan Schmitt had slipped from first place and the yellow jersey down to sixth - Team Exergy"

"Of course the boys feel disappointed by the turn of events at San Dimas…but their spirits remain high and they look forward to taking on the Redlands Bicycle Classic starting Thursday where they will be joined by Andres Dias, Carlos Alzate, and a healthy Freddie Rodriguez. “We’ve got our chins held high and we’re racing hard,” said Tad.
