World Champion Catharine Pendrel (Luna) opened 2012 season with a win at the first US Pro XCT race of the season, the Mellow Johnny's Classic in Dripping Springs, Texas. Judy Freeman (Crank Bros) pulled herself back to nail down 2nd. Pua Mata (Sho-Air-Specialized WN) an ultra endurance pro rode a consistent race to take 3rd, against the fastest women in the world. No stranger to XC, USA Cyclo-cross Champion Katie Compton was 4th, while Georgia Gould finished a disappointing 5th.

Logan Loader (EXERGY) Takes the WN! Congrats!

Two Exergy guys in the top 5 GC.

In the final classification, Logan Loader overtook Optum's Tom Zirbel to take 2nd overall through the time bonus on the stage.
