MTB World Cup XC #7- Luna takes a World Cup!

Bromont, Canada saw Luna's Catherine Pendrel finish in front of friends and family on the extremely muddy & treacherous conditions.  There's no place like home!  And some will say the other racer's took it easy!

This is huge for the Luna gals as they get a few weeks of rest before the Olympics.  The confidence needed before Beijing will allow for perhaps more sleep?

Gould said, "This race was not a priority for me right now." with an eye toward the Olympic Games.  She was conservative and didn't want to get hurt in the trees.  She said, she if feeling very strong and worked hard on the climbs.

The best cyclists of the world will descend upon Beijing and how cool is that.  A win itself, to go for one's country!  Many have never set foot in Asia until they arrive for Olympic Games.  To be part of this is something you can talk about with the grand kids! Ha!

Premont was 2nd and Katerina Nash Luna 3rd, Lene Byberg 4th and Georgia Gould Luna 5th.

The Luna Team is number one in the World!  One of them stands a good chance at the Olympics!

Who will it be?
