62 podiums and counting!

July 10, 2010

Friends and Supporters,

We are just now passing the midpoint of a great year of racing, and KPC has made podium appearances on 62 occasions in 2010 so far. That's right, 62, and it's all thanks to our new Kenda Volare tubular tires! From Gaimon's 2nd overall at the Tour de Taiwan (UCI), to Luca Damiani's amazing rides at Battenkill (UCI) and Athens (NRC), to Jim Stemper's recent domination at the Tour of America's Dairyland (NRC), the team has been flying the KENDA Pro Cycling presented by GEARGRINDER flag with honor.

Frankie Andreu has directed his riders to follow the team's vision and mission statement of animating races with pure aggressive style and panache. This is evidenced by viewing any race report on various media and by looking at the associated photos that tell an events true story. In fact, this very style has earned KPC 3 Most Aggressive Rider awards, most notably, that of Rob Bush's Most Aggressive podium at the grueling Nature Valley Grand Prix Stage Race (NRC)!

"Both Frankie and I are proud of the major strides this team has taken since its inception. We are truly a premier US domestic team this year and are ranked as the 3rd highest domestic team in the US. This is what we aim to keep building on." Says owner and GM, Chad Thompson of the 2010 season thus far.

The team's biggest news of the summer is the launching of a truly innovative and first ever GPS based internet competition, where the grand prize is a 1-year contract on our 2011 team! Inferno has partnered with Strava to bring this unique competition to the world, and many have jumped on the opportunity to help raise funds for TX Tough Foundation/Children's Hospital with this competition, including Kenda, CTS, Strava, RBA and TX Tough GP III. Check it out at www.strava.com/kenda now!

As always, Inferno and KPC are constantly looking to improve return on investment (ROI) for all involved partners. So please, feel free to contact us at any time with ideas or comments. We are here to stay and want all of you to share the very same pride we do. And, be sure to visit our team's web site for updates, news and results regularly atwww.kendaprocycling.com.

Best regards,

Finally, a true Power Meter competitor in the power training market! Until now, SRM was the only worthy crank based power meter, but Quarq's Cinqo has proven worthy and is KPC's choice of power recording. Quarq units are compatible with most all ANT+ head units and can be placed on Shimano, SRAM, Specialized, FSA and Cannondale cranks. Visit www.quarq.com for full details on the system that KPC has chosen for all of their bikes!
