"I really wanted to keep Kori in the yellow jersey today because I want other girls to have the opportunity to race their bikes," Armstrong said. "Today we knew it would come down to the typical climbers and so I needed to be on Mara. It was hard to figure out what the Webcor strategy would be, because they have such a strong team all together.
