Carlos Alzate won the inaugural edition of the UBC Grand Prix in Vancouver, B.C. Tuesday night in a convincing show of force. The victory was sweet redemption for his runner-up at the Tour de Delta 2 days before and a final confirmation of the Team's form leading up to the Exergy Twilight Criterium in Boise this coming Saturday, as Exergy teammate and local boy Ben Chaddock finished 5th and cleaned up the crowd prime. Alzate and his teammates leave the B.C. Superweek early while leading the overall competition in order to take on the best field of the year in our hometown race.
