WN Fast Freddie Rodriguez takes 2013 USA Men's Nats Road Race at age 39 for the 4th time! Makes history!

WN has been making history for some time.  You might say this is not our first rodeo! For Freddie Rodriguez, a long time pro to work with us is a big deal.

Freddie is "WN Fast" & it's in the books!

Freddie Rodriguez (Jelly Belly-Kenda) won the men’s road race title at the Volkswagen USA Cycling Professional Road and Time Trial National Championships on Monday in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The WN  was Rodriguez’s record 4th  U.S.A. professional road title and came in his 1st. race since returning to the pro ranks with Jelly Belly earlier in May.

13 years on from his first championship, taken in Philadelphia when he was racing for the Mapei team, and 9 years since his last, Rodriguez, 39, became the oldest US Pro champion in race history in addition to taking the record for US Pro championships, having broken his previous tie with George Hincapie.

Dare to Care?

Cycling didn't just start about 15 years ago and ended in 2012.  Yes it has had a very large, a very large black eye!  Holding one of the most famous instances of cheating!  But the sport, the fan base is lager than the cheats!  I know we have all been impacted by the immoral way of achieving one's goal.  It's a message conveyed or a lesson to be learned from the story!

Is cycling going through a taboo?  Ten years "star struck" of being captivated by a famous person or by the fame itself?  Is the cycling sport bigger than a single star?  Breaking a taboo is usually considered objectionable by society in general, not merely a subset of a culture.  No question, most recently, the cycling road game aroused great distaste!  We need to lick our wounds and break the taboo!  There are more starts in the universe, game is not called LA.

Sports are governed by both customs and explicit rules regarding acts which are permitted and forbidden at the event and away from it. Forbidden acts frequently include performance-enhancing drug taking (doping), using equipment that does not conform to the rules i.e. last week at the Pan Am games by or altering the condition of equipment during play, and deliberate harassment or injury to competitors.

The sport will go on, only if people pay attention to it!

It's a new game in cycling!  There are new faces, but its still great Entertainment and it is something that holds the attention and interest of an audience,  something that gives pleasure and delight.

Do you have the audacity (the soul) to break the taboo, to go so far as; as of sticking one's neck outgo out on a limb to be a cycling fan?  Pick the church you like, pick the team you like, pick a player, but pick!

Go to WN Precision's Face Book  (WN Precision) and help build the fan base, learn the players, share your take, tell your storytelling!

Even the entertainment show "The Voice" has new singers each year!   BTW -  Any show is much better if you follow it from start to end each season!

Anyone keeping up with the continuum? Are you watching the Giro d'Italia?

It takes time to make history, to see trends in a sport.

No question, times have changed i.e. last 10 years, but cycling will be a continuum! WN is a fan of the sport, it has had a black eye and today work with some who have history past and present. Helping them uncover more, more with each pedal stroke!

For example, "Fast Freddie" Rodriguez due to his reputation as a sprint specialist, who also raced clean. Rodriguez is 3X National Road Race Champion, and 4X Tour de Georgia stage winner. Rodriguez came up through the ranks of the U.S. National Team (1992–1994) in the same 'class' as a series of other professional riders, including: Bobby Julich, Chann McRae, George Hincapie, Jeff Evanshine, Kevin Livingston, and Lance Armstrong. Other notable Palmarès include, winning Stage 9 of the 2004 Giro d'Italia,

Since 1999, WN Precision has been making history, in 2001 we had 5 USA Champions alone.  We work hard everyday on the subject of cycling and we have some pretty big names in our data that use our info.  No matter what class, what race, it's good to advance the things that make a difference. As in any that takes years!  It's not just about the fit, the sizzle, it's about learning how to use your body best, then sharing that with older pros and new pros!

Sure you can just throw a leg over the bike and ride, that's not what is about.  It's about learning how to do something well.  Why in the world, would you want to put forth a poor performance?  It's the unseen things that make a difference and you have to learn them, that's what makes sport fun!

Great Performances!

WN has over 36,000 fits in our data base, many are Nat and World champions and in (tt, track, mtb, cx, xc, fun).   It has taken us years to learn what makes a difference, using costly science to myth-bust.  Below are just a few names of a very long list & we aren't allowed to use their names!
